These terms cover your use of Echo, the social platform for allied health professionals. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Who can use Echo
Echo is built for allied health professionals and students — you tell us your discipline when you sign up. You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account, and the information you give us needs to be accurate.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. One account per person — don't create an account on someone else's behalf or impersonate someone else.
Acceptable use
Echo only works if it's a real professional community, so please don't:
- Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other members
- Post anything false, misleading, or that misrepresents your qualifications
- Share information that could identify a client or patient
- Spam, scrape, or use Echo for unrelated advertising
- Impersonate another person or organization
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. See our Community guidelines for more detail on what we expect.
Your content
You own whatever you post to Echo — questions, answers, comments, your profile. By posting, you give Echo a license to display and distribute it as part of running the platform. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post whatever you share.
Mentors and professional content
Content shared by mentors or other members on Echo — including Q&A answers and event content — reflects individual professional experience. It's not a substitute for clinical supervision, professional advice, or your own professional judgment, and Echo doesn't guarantee its accuracy or outcomes.
No paid features yet
Echo is currently free to use, with no paid features. If we introduce paid features in the future (for example, a Library or mentor booking fees), we'll publish separate terms covering them before they launch.
Suspending or closing your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put other members at risk.
Disclaimers
Echo is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the “last updated” date above if these terms change, and post the updated version here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
